The main street of Pleasant Point was popular place for comfort stops.
The annual Rock and Hop in Timaru featured a parade of vehicles leaving Timaru early around 5:30 pm.
Leading cars arrived in Pleasant Point just after 6 pm on a beautiful fine warm evening.
Below is a selection of these vehicles.
Pleasant Point's annual street festival was held under grey skies but no rain on Saturday 7 November. A large crowd turned up to enjoy the various stalls, children's activities, displays, train rides and shearing competition.
